this is the one we did first in pastel my face came out really weird

we’re doing practice portraits in class right now in preparation for our larger painting!

i’m having such a hard time with mine, and i think i actually liked it the best at the middle point, but i want to learn how to fully render and not just stop half-way

also a photo of our art room! (mine’s the only one in colour just because i brought my own paints and started early)

another project in the series of heads, my school was part of a local gallery show recently! this was my piece for the show, the head has sensors on the front and mechanics in the back so the front face opens when you get very close!
